About 60 Kiama Senior players, wives and friends attended the now annual presentation night and Christmas get together on Thursday evening the 17th December. The gathering were welcomed by Board Member Bob Morgan followed by a sumptuous roast dinner. Light dinner music was supplied by John Micallef and Brian Keast on guitar and ukulele “wowing” the audience with the high quality performance and later sing-a-long. Bruce Ryan presented a Tennis Address encouraging the Tuesday Morning Group to greater heights and encouragement to players for a game enjoyed by an active group of diverse players each Tuesday morning. A game “The Face of Tennis ” competition was conducted by David Graham. Tennis experts named the many tennis faces in the top level with a few “trick” photos of Rob Massey, Gary Marks and Denis Quinn in the mix.
The winners were Vince and Dana Breen. Bill Summerside and Phil Crocker (absent) were presented with a gift for their victory in the Senior Mens Doubles with Matt Dewhurst accepting the runners up award.
